Coloring With Cars

Updated: Mar 25, 2020

Racing to come up with a gift? Let your little one take the wheel!

#ColoringWithCars requires minimal set-up, is simple and fun! *I've linked the products we used from Amazon below!

What You Will Need:

3. Tape

4. White or light colored Art Paper

5. Heart Stencil/Cookie Cutter

6. Scissors

Step 1: Ideally, while baby is napping, prep your materials! Attach colorful, washable markers to toy cars, utilizing your tape. Be sure the marker is securely fastened, so not to end up on the floor or in their mouths!

Step 2: Lay down drawing paper on a flat surface and tape down the four corners. (I sat Noah in his highchair for this activity)

Step 3: Give your little one the green light to start "driving".

Step 4: Once they have used each color, detach the paper and help them by cutting out a ❤️ shape!

Not only has your child created something unique and special, but #coloring also assists them in developing important skills, such as, fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, and color recognition!

If you decide to try this Sensory Activity, I'd love to hear about your experience! Please leave a comment below or tag me, @slayathomemama, in your post on Instagram.
