Fill A Bag, Fill A Heart!
We started a new tradition this year, assembling Blessing Bags for those who are experiencing homelessness around the holidays. Santa's Elves (Noah & Bradley ) helped to fill 50 bags, which we have scheduled to deliver next week!
We packed the bags with individually wrapped masks, toothbrushes, new socks, sunscreen, water bottles and candy canes! I've linked some of the bulk items we found from Amazon, if you would like to make Blessing Bags also.
Even though the boys are just under 2, it is never too early to start teaching our little ones about empathy, compassion and giving back. 2020 has been a difficult year for so many families... My hope in sharing this, is that you too will feel inspired to reach out to those in need in your community. A simple gesture, like a Blessing Bag, can go a long way in making someone's Christmas a little brighter.
